Recording my Shows

Staying at home and taking care of the kids is a fun thing to do. I consider myself lucky to be able to have a lifestyle which doesn't involve having to stress out about my boss and about deadlines. Yes, there are stresses involved with being a stay-at-home wife but its rewards are so much worth it.

I love to watch TV alot whenever my little one is asleep and my older daughter is at school. The problem is that there are times when I can't watch my favorite shows because my toddler needs my attention. Good thing my husband got me a DVR for DIRECTV, I am able to record my shows and watch it at a later time. My sister-in-law, who is a stay at home mom, also got herself a DVR for Time Warner Cable, since she's already subscribed Time Warner.

If you are a stay-at-home mom like me and you have Dish Network, don't fret they also have a DVR for Dish Network. Believe me, it is very convenient to watch your favorite shows whenever you feel like it.

Anniversary Present from GK Scott

Hubby and I just celebrated our wedding anniversary. Another year marking that our love for each other still continues. I am not really not good in gift giving, but I try my best to get whatever I could to show to my hubby that I care. I looked online for possible anniversary gifts and I found a site named GK Scott which sells pre-owned Rolex watches.

It is a good site because it has the best inventory of all pre-owned Rolex watches online. I had so much fun looking through the different styles they offer and I also told my sister-in-law who will be celebrating their wedding anniversary soon about GK Scott . She might want to get something fancy like a Rolex watch to her husband at an affordable price.

If you are looking for a good present for your husband, dad or somebody who deserves a Rolex watch, check out GK Scott and browse through their different Rolex watches. You might find one that your hubby would appreciate.

Phone Calls with my Brother

Guest post written by Alex Wharton

My brother and I are pretty close, which made going away to college kind of hard. Especially because just a year before I went off to college was when we stopped bickering all the time and actually started getting along.

He’s constantly on the Internet, either in chat rooms or watching funny videos, which he sends me almost all of. Being a busy college student and all, a lot of my time spent online revolves around doing or procrastinating on school work. The latter is when I most often call my brother on our family’s Home Phone. I’ll talk through watching a horribly staged reality dating show on the dorm TV Service and he’ll find funny videos making fun of whatever D-list celebrity is the object of these contestants’ affection through our wireless at home that my mom found through some Internet Bundles.

My favorite was definitely “Rock of Love” with Bret Michaels and I was hoping that he’d come back and do a fourth one after winning “Celebrity Apprentice,” but unfortunately he isn’t – as far as I know.

Ghost Ships at Morey's Piers

I was talking to my friend who is currently residing at New Jersey and she told me about the recent attraction thery visited with her husband. She said she had so much fun there and that she would definitely visit again.

The name of the place she was talking about was the Ghost Ship at Morey's Piers. It is a big amusement park, basically that has actors, stunts and animatronics technology. She said she felt like being in a halloween park in the middle of summer! It was fun, entertaining and scary at the same time. I can't wait to visit the park myself.

Golf Vacation

It's summer already! Finally the season I have been waiting for is here. The problem is that we thought we would do the usual summer stuff we used to do years ago which is go to Florida and soak in the sun while in the beautiful white-sand beach. Due to the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico, we have to find a different beach to go vacation at. I looked online for beautiful beaches and I found the site http://www.myrtlebeachgolf.net/.

They have beautiful beaches in Myrtle Beach and it's all clean and oil-free. They also have all kinds of resorts right next to the beach. In fact there are a lot of Myrtle Beach golf courses for people who are golf enthusiasts. My husband and I aren't really into golf but we would like to try it. It would be wonderful to go there and try it. There are also a lot of Myrtle Beach golf packages available for guests who wants to book tee times as well as accommodations together.

It's summer and I would not let the oil-spill spoil mine and my family's fun.

Small Business Credit Card

Having a small business in this economy helps a lot. Now that oil prices are going up due to the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico, the prices of the commodities are also going up. Living from paycheck to paycheck to survive is hard. That's why we are so glad for the little business that me and my husband started a couple of year ago. It helped us pay for our bills and with that alleviates the stress in this hard times.

We started years ago accepting only cash in our transactions. We don't have any machines to use to process credit cards. Last month, with our business going better than the other businesses in the area, we decided to get a machine that let's us accept credit cards. We applied online for a credit card processing for small business and we got our credit card terminal right away.

Now we get more customers than before and we hope that our small business would help boost out the economy in our little way.

New Home, New Appliances

We will be moving to a bigger home soon. I am so excited as well as my kids and my husband. We have been waiting for so long to get this house and now, finally, we get to live on it and enjoy it. We have been through all kinds of stuff just to be able to get this house, and all of the stress that comes with it is worth it. This house is awesome and I am sure that it would create wonderful memories with our family.

Since it's a new house, we made sure that almost everything in it is new. A new house deserves new appliances and new furnitures so we made sure that we looked up the best dishwashers and we chose the one that is energy-efficient. We also looked at different lcd tvs before deciding on the 60 inch lcd tv from Sony that my husband fell-in-love with. I am more inclined with plasma tvs, but he knows better than I do when it comes to electronics so I let him do the picking. Although he promised me that I could choose the furnitures that I want in the entire house. He just have to pay for it. That's a good deal for me.

Now, we are in the final stages of moving. The moving itself is not that fun but the thought of having a new home to enjoy is inspiration enough for me to get going. Life is indeed great, especially if you have been through the worse and got to survive it.

Oil in our Beaches

We are lucky to live near the beach of Mississippi and Florida but now, we are not that lucky anymore. Eversince the oil leak in the gulf, most of the beaches in our area are off-limits because of the oil in it. Now, I don't know where we will go for our summer vacation. Last year and the years before that, when we fell like going to the beach, we would just hop in the car and start driving till we get to the beach, now, it's not the case anymore.

I looked online for the different beaches in the country that have been spared byt the oil leak and I came into the site about Myrtle Beach. I found out that http://www.myrtlebeachseasideresorts.com/ is a site that gives me all kinds of informations about the beautiful resorts in Myrtle Beach. I checked out all the different accomodations they have and it's pretty affordable. They even have golf packages if you're a golfer.

If you wanna get away on a beach this summer and don't know where to go because of the oil leak situation, try to visit their site at http://www.myrtlebeachseasideresorts.com/. You might end up vacationing there like we probably would this year.

Cars Galore

We celebrated Father's Day by going to the aquarium and watching a movie that my husband has been wanting to watch. On the way to the aquarium yesterday, we stopped by a car show and checked out the cars that they have. My husband is a car enthusiast and since it's his day, we obliged and even though it was very hot.

The cars they have are mixed from classic ones to the newest models. They even have the cars that have gone through several upgrades to make it faster. One of the new family cars that was there was the volkswagen routan. I have always wanted to own one because it's a good family car. My husband was enthralled with the upgraded dodge caliber that has more horsepower than before. The suzuki xl7 is cool according to my daughter because it was painted pink by the owner.

Out of all the cars that was in the show, the one that caught my attention so much was the VW new beetle convertible. The beetle was my dream car ever since I could remember and I still consider it my dream car until now. It just got better because they have a convertible now. Hopefully someday I get to own one, but with this economy, I doubt it. Unless of course if I win the lottery.

House Hunting

Last Sunday, my family went all over to look for houses that are on foreclosure or for sale so we could see what options we have in getting a bigger home. Our family if growing, and so is our need for more space. My kids need all the space they could especially since they have a big age-gap. My oldest daughter needs a room of her own and not share with her younger sister. Hubby and I are also planning to have boys, and so it is imperative to try and get a bigger house.

As we were looking from one neighborhood to the next, we came through this beautiful subdivision with clean, well-kept lawns and ornate mailboxes. My kids said they want to live in this neighborhood because they could sense the peace and order. I loved the way they maintained their homes and beautiful plants they have in front of their houses. The house we went see has a very beautiful cottage with an antique-looking mailbox. It is spacious and nice.

We are considering getting that property but for now, we will keep on looking, you never know, there might be a better property out there for half the price.

Fitting my Lifestyle with Online Class

Guest post from Jill Simon

As a teacher, I must take continuing education classes my whole life. As a single parent, I can’t predict when my child is going to wake me up in the middle of the night sick, or fall on the playground at school and break his arm. As a single parent, I find sitting in a classroom on a weekday evening or a Saturday morning to be inconvenient and at times frustrating because I have fifty other things I could be doing. As a professional and single parent, I value education and wanted to try using hughes internet service for a class on differentiated instruction. I was able to find a good deal on hughes internet in AZwhich made my mission easier.

If anyone tells you an online class is easy, don’t believe them! My class on differentiated instruction was as challenging and intriguing as sitting in a classroom with thirty other people. I was given a syllabus with the expectations and assignment due dates via e-mail. Similar to a regular class, I needed to blog my thoughts on assigned readings and write a final paper. Everything was completed electronically and I even had to watch several lectures on line.

As a teacher and single parent, this online class made me completely happy. I could finish the work while my son was sleeping, so it didn’t interfere with “mommy” time. I didn’t have to miss any classes due to emergencies or meetings at work. This class turned out great and I highly recommend taking an online class to fit your lifestyle needs. And with so many wireless internet providers, you can take classes nearly anywhere!

Giving My Daughter Her Allowance

My daughter is growing fast and it is my responsibility to make sure that she knows how to budget money and be responsible with finances. She saved a lot of money from the previous Christmases when Grandma and grandpa gave her money. She has been keeping it in her wallet and now she complains that her sister s messing with her wallet and she lost some of her saved-up money.

So my husband decided to get a prepaid visa card for her so she could put all her money without the hassle of having her little sister get to it and sometimes rip it. She loved it so much and she enjoys the fact that she has money in the one little card she has in her wallet. We also love the fact that even if she's young she gets to have an ATM card that's not connected to our bank accounts. It has all the money she saved and if she spends it all, we won't have to worry that she would go over the limit.

My husband liked it so much he got one for himself so he could use it when we go travel and not worry about stolen cards that are attached to our bank account.

Beautiful Outdoor Furniture

I am not so fond of winter. I hate having to wear layer after layer of clothes just to keep me warm. I also don't like to stay inside the house, and during winter season, you really don't have a choice because you would freeze if you stay outside too long.

I am so glad that winter is over with and summer is here! I dreamed of sitting outside with a glass of lemonade, while watching my kids play in the grass. I also can't wait to get a new outdoor furniture for our outside deck. The picture up top is my favorite. I found them from a furniture site online which offers thousands of unique furniture for the patio.

The trick now is to convince my husband dearest to pay for it. He would say we don't need to replace our old furniture but I know that later on, after he realizes that our old tattered ones don't do the job anymore, he would agree to get the ones I like so much.

Restaurant Business

They say food business is the only business that would thrive in this economy. We all need to eat and as long as our body tells us that it needs food to keep going, we would continue to spend our hard-earned money to buy food or to eat out every now and then. That's why my brother-in-law got into the restaurant business.

He recently purchased an old fire station and converted it into a three-storey restaurant during the day and bar during the evening time. It was not easy to convert the place into the nice cozy place it is now, he worked hard to make it look nice. He bought a lot of restaurant supply and did all kinds of repairs. He even made sure it's equipped with state-of-the art cameras to make sure that every body's safety is secured. His kitchen is wonderful! It's filled with Commercial Kitchen Equipment that you could only find in big restaurants.

He spent a lot of money to make sure that he builds the restaurant that would make people come. It's a beautiful place now and I hope, for my brother-in-law's sake that it would thrive and he would be able to get all hids money back and more.

Buying a Mobile Home

I love my humble home but we need to upgrade to a bigger one. As our family is growing, the more rooms we need to fit everybody. My husband has been bugging me for years now to give him three sons. Easy for him to say! LOL. In all seriousness, I do want to give him at least two little boys to carry his name, and if God will grant us that prayer, we would definitely need to get a bigger house.

My husband is thinking of just getting a piece of land in the rural area of our Parish to build a house on. He is also thinking of getting Manufactured Homes Indiana to put into his land. He looked it up online already and so far there are all kinds of companies that sells Mobile Homes in Indiana. They are all built like real houses now, with sturdy materials and strong foundation.

Looking at the different Mobile Homes Indiana, we are leaning more towards getting a pre-made home than building it ourselves. We even picked the ones we like the most. There are a couple of them that we are considering to buy and we know that whatever decision we make, it would be for the betterment of the family.

Moving Help

Moving is hard. I know it myself because we used to move a lot when I was younger. The packing and unpacking is very time-consuming and the adjustment to the new neighborhood is as hard as moving from one school to the other in the middle of the school year. You need to get to know your neighbors again, get to know your surroundings and most of all get comfortable with the new adobe you're moving into.

Nowadays, it's not as hard since there is a moving company that you could find online that would do all of the packing and the moving for you for an affordable price. Moving companies are sometimes more capable of moving all the stuff in your house than you because that's their specialty. They make sure that what you pay them is worth it and they also make sure that you do as little work as possible.

I am now thinking that someday, when my husband retires, we would probably get the services of a international movers to help us move to the Philippines. That's where we plan to retire and spend the rest of our lives with our kids hopefully. It is just nice to know that when we move someday, there would be people who could help me.

Personal Loans

It's not surprising that my husband's paycheck sometimes don't cover the expenses in the household. With this economy, higher prices of goods and higher amount of bills to pay, it is very hard to keep a budget. So every now and then, especially when there is an emergency, we succumb to Payday Loan to help us pay for whatever it is that can't be avoided.

Just this month, my husband has a speeding ticket that we need to pay. It is not part of the budget and the only way to pay for it is by getting a Small Personal Loan. It's a quick and easy way to get money without having to pay for it for years like getting a new credit card. We pay for it as soon as we get extra money and we are back on track with our budget.

My sister-in-law on the other hand uses a Business Loan every time she needs extra cash to fix her pressure washer. That's a service that her and her husband have and even if they have a lot of clients and are earning a good amount, they still are affected with the recession just like us.

Life is like that, we need to be resilient and we need to do everything we could to survive.

Time to Move

My sister-in-law just went through bankruptcy and she lost almost everything she owned. She has to move from her house to an apartment because she could not afford to pay the high mortgage she's paying for her house. I know that there are a lot of people that are going through hard times this couple of years and I also know how hard it is even to survive.

I went help my sister pack up her belongings. She used the services of Upack to move her stuff to her new apartment. We pack everything and we loaded it up to the Upack truck. It's way cheaper than getting a truck rental, and way more convenient.

Now, she's slowly recovering from the loss and hopefully someday, this economy would go better for the sake of us all and our kids.

Addicted

I was watching a show on TV about people who are addicted to drugs, alcohol, sex and even food. Watching them go through all the craziness is not easy. I pity them, yet I do agree that sometimes you need to be tough on them to help them recover from the addiction. Good thing there are plenty of recovery house l.a that is available to them. It offers a good environment for them while they're trying to make themselves better.

There's a big chance of them going back to their old habits after they went through rehabilitation. So it's also important that they stay in a sober living house for a while until they are able to figure out a way to continue living minus the addiction.

Sometimes we all get judgmental on them, but we have to look at them on a different perspective. They need help more than judgment and there's more chances of them recovering if the people around them offers compassion yet firm in other aspects.

My Favorite TV Show

This was written by Veronica Mathers

I used to live in the UK and without question the best show on TV was Prime Suspect. When I moved to the US, my apartment had satellite tv free installation so now I have tons of channels. When I was scrolling through my tv guide a few nights ago and up popped Prime Suspect! I have seen 'Masterpiece Theatre' and 'Masterpiece Mystery' advertised before but didn't really pay attention. In the guide however, this time 'Masterpiece Contemporary' was the title but Prime Suspect as the show description.

I guess I could claim to be a fan of Helen Mirren but really, I'm a bigger fan of the character Jane Tennyson. She is a chief inspector in the British police force. Past seasons of Prime Suspect have developed her character to such an extent that the storyline has become secondary. She is an alcoholic who is married to the job. There have been occasional flings (usually subordinate younger men) and a few insights into her upbringing. Jane became a police woman straight from school at age seventeen and is viewed as a career-mad feminist by her family. I could watch this show just for Helen Mirren’s acting; it's pure masterpiece. The storylines incidentally are generally pretty grim and gritty, child abduction, pornography rings and murder but do not have the gratuitous voyeurism of other crime shows. I would highly recommend Prime Suspect to fans of crime, drama and top-notch acting.

My In-Law's Anniversary

My parent in-law are going to have their wedding anniversary next month. I am thinking of a unique present I could give them. It is so hard to give them something when they all everything already. I also want to give them something that symbolizes something in their marriage.

I searched online and I found a site that sells Unique Anniversary Gifts. They have very cute stuff that are made specifically for wedding anniversaries. I already found the best present to give to my in-laws and I can't wait to give it to them.

I hope that my marriage would last until me and my husband are both old. I would love to be like my in-laws, enjoying life while spoiling their grand kids.

Needing a New TV

One thing we love to do as a family is watch a movie or our favorite shows on TV. My husband is so particular about the size and the quality of the picture in the TV so he bought me a 60 inch hd tv. With it's ginormous size and high definition picture, plus the surround sound he installed, it feels like we're in the movie theaters when we watch something.

After years of enjoying our TV it finally broke in the middle of us watching The Count of Monte Cristo. My husband was not so happy because a big hd television is expensive. We were looking online for different models and we also looked at different stores for a cheap deal. When we went to this fancy electronics store, my husband's face lit up. He seems to be like a kid in a candy store. There are things that he checked out like the hd projector. It's a cool thing to use at work when he's doing his EMT classes.

Hopefully by next month, we would be able to get a new hd TV. Right now, we're using our regular old television and boy, we miss watching our shows in the big screen.

It Keeps Getting Better

When I was a child I have always dreamed of meeting the man of my dreams and building a family. It might sound corny but I do have a dream of the white picket fence and a dog in a new manufactured homes for sale. I have never wanted anything but be a mother and a good wife. As I grew up and the reality of life sinks in, I realized that dreams don't always come true. So even with the idea of having my own family, I started to get acquainted to the fact that maybe I won't be able to get the beautiful house in a white picket fence.

My husband came into my life at the perfect time. Love really moves in mysterious ways. He swept me off my feet and he promised that he would make all my dream come true. Ever since then he has slowly, but surely made every little dream that I have, become reality. One thing that's still on the works is my dream house.

I am not asking for any mansions of fancy taj mahal. All I want is a clean, 4-bedroom manufactured homes with plenty of space for my kids to grow-up on. My husband has been working hard to give it to me. And now, after years of waiting, we are slowly making it a reality. We are currently looking at different models and hopefully we will find the manufactured homes for sale for us.

Life may not go as we want it to but there are always better things ahead. It may not go as you want it to go but one way or another, dreams could come true. Just like mine, it keeps getting better.

A New Baby in the Family!

Our family has grown bigger with the addition with one little pumpkin named Nicholas! He is our new baby in the family. He is my sister-in-law's son and he is also my Godchild. He is a joy because out of 9 grand kids in the family, he is the second boy. Hopefully someday, I could give my husband a little boy just like cute little angel, Nick.

World Cup Begins

Nelson Mandela says the upcoming World Cup is "one of the greatest" events in Africa's history.
In a letter to FIFA, the 91-year old Mandela said the monthlong competition which starts Friday is more than just a game. Mandela says in the letter that the tournament "symbolizes the power of football to bring people together from all over the world, regardless of language, the color of one's skin, political or religious persuasion."

With games airing live on cell phones and computers, the World Cup will get more online coverage than any major sporting event yet. Watching highlights the next day on TV or YouTube will suddenly seem a downright ancient way to keep up with the action. When the soccer tournament begins Friday, footy fans can follow the action from an array of mobile and Web applications and share in triumph and heartbreak across social media.

The World Cup is a rare betting event, if you miss making your 2010 World Cup predictions then you have to wait until 2014 to make another World Cup bet. Aside from the betting, people are also going crazy on where to purchase their World Cup Jersey like the England World Cup Jersey and the Brazil World Cup Jersey.

This year the bookmakers are expecting a boon in business because of the strength of the English team, England (15/2) is always a popular bet inside Britain and out. With England and the USA in the same group, their game is the most anticipated match of the World Cup group play. Sportsbooks are predicting that the World Cup game between the American and the British squad will be the most bet game of the group play. The British team is heavily favored and if they move past the Americans and win the group, North American soccer bettors will support the English with some fervor, although the favorites, Spain at 4/1 and the Brazil at 9/2 are also popular World Cup Prediction in 2010.

My Hubby's Obsession

My husband wants to buy a new truck. Ever since he saw his brother's new dodge truck, he is obsessed with getting one for himself. But a truck is not cheap. It don't cost as much as a pair of glasses or perhaps a pack of cigarettes. So until now, he still didn't get to buy a new truck.

One day as he was driving to work, he passed by our local used car lot. He saw a black 2008 dodge truck that is loaded with features just like his brother's truck. Even though he's getting late for work, he still managed to stop and check it out. The next day-off he got, he brought me there with him and test-drive it. It was awesome! I even wanted to buy it right there and then. But we have to make sure we could pay for it and not just jump into making a loan and end up not being able to pay the monthly note.

He was so excited, he looked online for dodge challenger accessories. He wants to add up all kinds of stuff on it and he didn't even own the vehicle yet. I felt so bad for him because I know that he really loved the truck. He looks like a kid in the candy store when he saw it. But he's also an adult and a very responsible one because he was able to think past his desire to get it and think about the family.

Right now, we're paying for a van we got on 2008. The amount we owe is going down fast but we need to make sure it's paid off before we get another car note. Maybe someday, sooner than I hope, we would be able to purchase the dodge truck.

Florida Camping Vacation

On Mother's day, we all went to Pensacola, Florida for a family weekend get-away. It was my husband's idea to start the camping tradition with the kids since he grew-up camping with his family. He made sure that we got all the necessary tools needed like the stakes and tents, the cooking stove and the tarps. He was so busy buying camping supplies the week before the trip.

I on the other hand is very receptive of the idea since we have a one-year-old toddler. I am scared that she'll get bitten by mosquitoes or that she will get a heat stroke from the heat. I have all kinds of concerns that I researched online about camping with toddlers. I went camping fully equipped with everything we should need. I made sure we have all kinds of medicines and ointments just in case somebody gets bitten. I also made sure I brought the eddie bauer infant travel bed, so my little girl would have some kinds of restraint and not just roam around the camping spot.

Over all, our camping trip was fun! We get to go swimming and we get to create memories as a family. We would definitely go camping again and this time we all know what to expect and what to bring.

A Successful Birthday Party

Fifi just turned one last February. It's a special birthday because it's her first one. My husband let me do all the planning and boy, I am so glad he did! I have free reign on what to do, so I made sure that every little detail is taken-cared of. First I looked for a good invitation in the stores near us. I was so disappointed with how they all kind of looked the same, that I made my own personalized invitation through photoshop.

I also wanted to have Personalized Balloons and for some reason, there's nobody in town who does it. So I looked online for companies that does it and I found a site that does it for an affordable price. Of course I have to order it ahead of time to make sure that it would arrive on time. Although speedy shipping is available, it is always better to order in advance.

When it comes to food, I made sure there are available foods kids and adults. I ordered some home-made sandwiches from a friend and also cooked my ever famous lumpia. The kids loved the inflatable slide we rented, the adults loved the sumptuous foods we served and the birthday girl loved the presents she received! Over all, Fifi's birthday party was a success!

Looking for a Job

A friend of mine recently got hired for a secretarial job. She has been looking for a job since last year and she's so glad that finally she got hired. I still remember when we talked about her plans about finding a job. She even asked my help in making her resume.

I am not that good with making resumes so I looked it up online and I found a pretty helpful site that allows you to upload your resume online. It's the tool we both used to make her resume and of course that's the same resume she submitted to the job hiring.

I am thinking of looking for a job too but for right now, I really can't because I have a toddler. My family is my main priority and as far as my husband is concerned, he could manage to provide for us all. But maybe someday he would agree with me working. When that time comes, I would use the same site to make my resume.

Summer Get-away at a Caravan Park

My husband is obsessed with recreational vehicles. He is so obsessed with it that he is thinking of getting a small trailer camp for our family. He already purchased a trailer hitch for the van and a seven pin connector for our van. We are just waiting for a particular time to get the trailer camp we found at the local dealer here in our area.

Hopefully this summer we could go to a caravan park with our new trailer camper. I'm sure the girls would have fun and of course my husband would have the time of his life! We tried to have a trial camping at a state park near us and we all had a blast! I'm sure with our own camper, it would be better!

I can't wait for the time to finally pick up our camper. We will create all kinds of family fun and memories for our kids. Sometimes, the best things in life is not going to five-star hotels and eating five course meals. Sometimes it is just family togetherness and pure simple fun.

Having a Toddler at Home

Having a toddler at home means chaos everyday. When it was just me, my hubby and my older daughter which is 8 years old now, our house is squeaky clean all the time. I don't work, so all I do is make sure that everything is in order and of course since my daughter is big enough, I have all the time in the world to do it. Ever since my younger daughter came though, everything is chaos. It was easier when she was a baby, but now that she's walking around, she makes sure she messes with everything she gets her hands on.

That's just the beginning. The mess every time we eat is hilarious. She always manage to spill this and spill that all over the place. Milk spills is also very common in our house. There was a time she spilled her whole pack of apple juice just for the fun of it and our carpet got really sticky and messy. Thanks to carpet cleaning phoenix, we were able to revive our precious carpet.

Now as I look around, I can't help but be in awe at how much a tiny little creature could do to mess up a big house. I have come into terms with the it and I know that this is only temporary. For right now, I am enjoying my little angel and I am letting her do the exploring she needs. Even if it means we would have to look at mess everyday.

The Green Bay Packers 2010 Draft

Professional football may be my favorite sport to watch, it may even be my favorite thing to watch on my entire satellite television package. Now that the NFL is in its off season, I have to resort to watching Major League Baseball or the National Basketball Association. However, for one weekend the NFL is in full form before any of the players even take the field. The NFL Draft is where teams rebuild for championships, and where the future stars are the league are born. My team is the Green Bay Packers, and while it has been a few years since they have won the Lombardi trophy the Pack is still a quality team with loads of young talent. This years draft solved a few problems for the Packers but left others unattended.

Lets face it, the Packers offensive line wasn’t very good last year. Aaron Rodgers spent a lot of time picking himself up off the ground. Rodgers still had a Pro Bowl season and was one of the best quarterbacks in the league last season, so it goes to show how good of a player he is when is own line can’t protect him. The Packer’s offensive line did solidify later in the season but still wasn’t great. The Packer’s first round pick this year was Bryan Bulaga, a talented offensive tackle from Iowa. Bulaga should go a long way in helping the Packers bolster their offensive line and in keeping Aaron Rodgers upright so he can continue to shred the secondaries of the NFL. I can’t wait to use me Directtv NFL Sunday Ticketet on the weekends with my buddies and kick back with some beer.

Boston Real Estate

My husband is thinking of transferring to Boston and work there. He works for the government, so it's not that hard to move up there. He don't even need to re-apply for a position, he would just need to file paper works for transfer. It is not definite yet, but I am already browsing through Boston Real Estate and looking for a good property for my family to move to.

Real Estate in Boston, just like any other city in the country has been affacted by the bad economy. So it's even more so easier for us to find a good place with an affordable price. As I was looking for properties in Boston online, I came into the site of Bushari Group Real Estate. They specialize in Boston Condos and Boston Luxury Lofts. They have all kinds of beautiful properties that are way cheaper than it costs years ago and their site has all the listings of the said in the Boston area.

If you are looking for Boston Luxury Real Estate, try to visit their site and check it out. You never know, you might find the condo that you want and end up getting it at an affordable price.

Free Business Cards

Starting a business is hard. Making the business prosper is harder, especially in this economy. I know for a fact because hubby started a business with his brother last year. It was stressful not only to him and his brother but to all of us. They both want to earn extra income, and having their own business is a way of making it happen.

Advertising and looking for clients is a way to help out a business. We made sure we have fliers and pamphlets that are good enough to attract clients. We also printed out free business cards and gave them to all business establishments. Every trick we tried to make sure that everybody knows about our business and the services we offer.

Right now, a year after they launched their business, my hubby and brother-in-law are still trying to make the business flourish. It is not going as well as they hoped it would. Whatever the outcome would be, at least they know that they tried to make it.

Bills, Bills, Bills

Every time my husband gets paid, I have to make sure that we pay our bills first and then whatever is left in it goes to whatever we need at home like food and baby necessities. The bills alone is a big part of the monthly expenses. The electricity, gas, water, Internet, cable, and insurance are only few of the bills that needs to get paid.

I usually do the budget and paying of bills. Mostly online but the others that needs to be mailed is done first. I make sure I keep track of the check numbers I use and make sure that I have return address labels in each of them. My husband works hard to be able to pay our bills and I am grateful that he earns enough to do so. I could only imagine how difficult it would be for us if his income is not enough to pay for our monthly bills.

Right now, money is tight. Bills needs to get paid, gas prices went up and food prices also went up. Having a baby in the family does not help, because we all know that there are plenty of extra stuff that a baby needs like diapers and formula. Despite it all, we are still thankful and we still consider ourselves blessed. We recognize that there are families out there that are going through worse times than us.
