We were horrified when we got our water bill last month that me and hubby decided to take actions and do something about it. We knew that the culprit for our big water bill was our messed-up toilet. It really needs to be replaced so it would save us money in the long run. We also need to teach our kids how to save water, by doing simple stuff like turning off the faucet while they are brushing their teeth.
My husband has done a lot of DIYprojects at home. He has been very good at it, so when he said that he would replace our toilet with a dual flush toilet, I didn't object. Our toilet is old-school and it really needs to be replaced, it is using to much water to make it flush. We have been talking about it for a while but this is the only time that we actually did something about it. He went to the hardware store, got the wax ring and the other stuff that he needs and he had our new dual flush toilet ready to use right away.
Now my girls are all excited to go use the restroom and press a different button everytime. I am more excited to see the savings on our next water bill.
