I have the chance to talk to my friend again after years on not seeing each other. Thanks to a networking site, we are able to catch up and continue the friendship where we left of. She was actually my college room mate and I am surprised to learn that like me, she also lives here in the US now. We talked for almost four hours, just talking about what we were doing after college. We also talked about our kids and our husbands.
She lives in the Eastern shore and she works as a real estate agent there. She said that eastern shore real estate is also affected by the slow market but it is still surviving, unlike the other areas in the country. She also said the despite the low housing market, she still manages to keep her job and that a lot of people there still keeps their houses. Infact, there are a lot of eastern shore new homes that's being built right now. She showed me pictures of the homes and true enough, I am impressed! Makes me want to move there.
For right now, I am just glad that I get to talk to my friend again and continue the friendship we have left behind. Perhaps someday, I would get to visit her and her family, and I would see for myself the beautiful homes my friend is trying to sell.
