Finally! Spring is here and it's here to stay! I am so ecstatic that the weather is getting warmer and warmer and the grass in our yard is starting to grow again. It's around the time of year when people start planting again and I can't wait to put some beautiful flowering plants in our window boxes.
Eversince my husband installed the window box outside our wide picture window, I have been planting all kinds of flowering plants in it. Last year I planted yellow tulips on it, this year I might plant some geraniums. Whatever it is I plant on it, I am sure it would add beauty and color to our humble home.
Spring is my favorite time of the year because it is when the colors pop-out again and the weather is not that hot yet. I could let my kids play outside and not worry too much about them burning up in the sun because during these time, the temperature is perfect and the humidity is very tolerable. We have so many plans for spring and I can't wait to do each and every one of them.
