House Plans

My husband and I have plans of moving to a bigger house. We plan on having more children and with our house right now, we won't fit. We wanted to have a bigger yard for the kids to play on and I don't want to deal with neigborhood rules. Where we are living right now, our grass has to be a certain height and the house should be a certain distance from the street, or else the neighborhood association could call the cops on us or fine us. All of that is nice and for the betterment of the neighborhood but it's just annoying sometimes that you have to be on your heels all the time.

So we figured that if we want to move to a bigger house, we might as well build it ourselves. We plan on buying a piece of property, not a part of a neigborhood but maybe a piece of land that hasn't been developed yet. We would build a house there and have all the yard for our kids and don't have to worry about neigborhood rules. My husband started looking for modern house plans. He found this site that offers all kinds of plans from craftsman house plans and diiferent styles of home plans. We got our favorite but we won't finalize it yet until we find the land that we want to purchase.

Hopefully someday all these plans would come into fruition and we would have the dream house we've been wanting.
