Do you have any plans yet on what to do during Valentine's Day? I have all kinds of plans and I hope that hubby and I will be able to do it. It is hard to plan though since right now, we are busy gettng everything ready for Fifi's first birthday and we will do her party on Valentine's Day. So we might do our valentine's day date the day after Fifi's birthday party.
I want to have a couple's massage with hubby. I haven't asked how much it would cost but I'm sure that I could find a way to pay for it. I am also thinking of checking-in at the nearby hotel and choose a room with a hot tub and jacuzzi on it. It would be perfect to spend a night away from home in a romantic hotel room setting. Or maybe we will just go eat dinner together and watch the stars right after in the nearby lake.
Last year, we didn't really get the chance to go on a fancy valentine date because I just gave birth a few days before valentines. I am still waddling with pain and with a little infant crying every 2 hours to be fed, there's no chance we could spend a couple of hours together without interruption. I didn't even care that time because I am still high from having my little angel finally out from my bulging belly and she is the perfect valentine's day gift for me. She is the fruti of our love for each other and she is the physical picture of our devotion to each other. My husband on the other hand cared enough to get boxes of chocolates for me and our older daughter. He also got cards expressing how much he loves us. That was really sweet of him.
Anyways, even if I didn't have a big valentine's celebration last year, I have an unforgettable valentine's day date with my husband two years ago. We spent the evening in a romantic dinner at a french restaurant in the french quarter. The chef served us with french foods and there are violinists playing romantic tunes around us. The table was lighted with candles and wine was served. It was really a set-up just like in the movies and I had butterflies in my stomach when we had that dinner. Hopefully we could do it again, maybe this valentine's day or maybe next year. It don't matter.
How about you? Do you have any plans yet? You better hurry and start planning since valentine's day is right around the corner.
