It is a blessing to be able to hear everything around us. We sometimes take this sense of hearing for granted but there are people out there who would give anything just have a chance to hear anything. I could only imagine how lonely it feels not to hear anything around you. It is so quiet. Thanks to hearing aids, this problem is somewhat solved. People who have hearing problems are able to hear everything perfectly because of this device. It's one of technology's best inventions to date.
I am so thankful that both my girls have normal hearing. I could only imagine what a devastating news it is for a mother to know that her child has hhearing problems. How could she ever tell him she loves him when he couldn't her a word? There are a lot of beautiful success stories I saw on TV about how a kid was able to live a normal life by giving him a chance to hear everything around him through hearing aids.
When I get old, I might lose my ability to hear everything perfectly. I might need a pair of glasses to be able to read and I might need hearing aids to be able to hear good. I am not closing the possibility that maybe someday, fifty years from now, I would be one of those people who benifits from hearing aids.
