Yesterday we went to the asian store to buy some groceries. I am the happiest whenever we go there because I could smell the familiar smells and see familiar products that makes me feel like I am close to home. I also love to buy Filipino stuff because I want my kids to be aware of the filipino products and be familiar with the filipino food's taste. Andrea loves to drink Milo, which she pronounced mee-loo and Fifi loves Nido. I don't like brewed coffee so even if I have to brew some for hubby everyday, I make my own instant coffee. Hubby and Andrea likes calamansi juice, fried bangus, and longganisa for breakfast.
Hubby also loves to eat filipino foods and he loves looking at my face everytime we go to the asian store. He is so sweet and wonderful and I am so grateful that I have a husband who accepts and embraces my culture. Here are some of the usual stuff we buy from the asian store...

ohhh..miss all these, bitaw, familiar smell..heheh! Haayy nanimaho nang pinas! hehhe
thanks for the visit sweet dearie:)
I also love all the foods you shop and mention, kaso lang walang pinoy store dito. May korean store pero walang pinoy foods na nakadisplay.
Pareho tayo Kath, the happiest pagnapadpad sa mga familiar place. When I went to Vegas my sister and her husband took me to the filipino store, of course kahit hindi mabili lahat ng gusto mabusok lng ang mata ug ilong tinan aw sa mga pinoy products. You are lucky madame you have asian store close at your place.
I made a review of your blog and your family at my How's Your Blog?. Please come over to my site to see it. Hope you like it. God bless you all always.
Ako rin, Milo ang iniinom ko :D
