Anything and everything that happens under the sun...

With Freedom Comes Responsibility

There was a Filipina girl who works in Dubai, after learning that there's a tragedy that happend in the Philippines, posted in her account in facebook, what I would call a very heartless comment regarding the unfortunate flood that killed a lot of people.

She specifically said that it's good that she's in Dubai when the storm happend because, according to her, there are a lot of sinners in the Philippines and they all deserve what happend to them.

Personally, I do not deny that there are sinners in the Philippines and so does all over the world. We are all sinners, so why are we casting a stone when we ourselves aren't perfect? And even if people committed sins, it's still not right to add insult to injury by saying nasty things like they deserve it.  It's up to God to say that and the innocent kids and babies affected by the said flood don't deserve, for sure, the predicament they are going through or have been through.

Sometimes we have to be careful what we say, especially what we write in the intenet. We have a freedom of speech but with that freedom comes responsibility.

Parasailing...

We're about to go up

Me and hubby up in the sky

Last year, me and hubby went on a vacation in the islands of the carribean and the virgin islands. We did all kinds of activities but my most favorite one is the para-sailing in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. It was an experience of a life-time and I am so glad I get to do it.

It was scary at first and I am a little hesitant to do it. When the boat left the dock early that morning, I was praying that all would go well. All kinds of thought crossed my mind. What if I fall? What if there's sharks in the water? What if the boat would tip over? Lol...

But everything went fine. We both had fun and the amazing thing is that you could see the beauty of the entire island in literally the bird's eye view. It was so cool and I definitely would do it again. I recommend it to those who didin't get the chance to do it in a minute.

My Girls

My girls are the completion of my life. They are my inspiration and I would do anything for them. They are the reason I am scared to get old, scared to die, scared to do anything to jeopardize my relationship and time spent with them. They are my life-source and my everything. I never realized this is how it feels when you're a mom. I never thought that such a deep feeling exists until I became a mom and a wife. It breaks my heart when they cry, I am happy when they're happy, I am so proud when they accomplish something. I know everymom out there understands what I mean and all sons and daughters experienced this kind of love from their mother. If this is half of how much God loves us, then, we really should be very thankful to HIM because that love is deeper than the abyss of space.

Trip to Universal Studios

Daddy and Andrea in Popeye's Ride

Daddy and Andrea having Fun

Family Picture at Universal Sign
We celebrated Father's day this year at Universal Studios, Orlando, Florida. We stayed there for 3 days and we all had a blast! Fifi was only 4 months-old so she has no idea what's really going on. Andrea, on the other had enjoyed the trip so much. She and daddy rode all the rides, a little girl like her is allowed to. She was so disappointed when the people from the Mummy roller coaster ride, told her she's too short for it.

I didn't really get the chance to ride so much rides because I have to look-after Fifi. While Andrea and daddy are enjoying themselves with the ride, Fifi and I were hanging-out at the shops waiting. I have no qualms though because I know that even if it's not so fun for me, Andrea was having the time of her life, and for a mom, that's what matters most.
Over-all, it was a wonderful time for all of us, even for Fifi who enjoyed watching the people around her. We would definitely go back, and hopefully by that time, Fifi would be old enough to know what's going on.

Earn Money Through LinkFromBlog

I have been writing blogs for quite a bit now. It is a fun pass time and it is a window for me to share my ideas and experiences. But most of all, blogging also helps me earn extra money for our family. For me, writing blogs is doing what you love to do and getting paid to do it.

I was doing my rounds, visiting my friend's blogs and I read something that caught my attention. It is a post by chie about Link from Blog. It is a site that serves as the meeting place between bloggers and advertisers. I decided to try it and I will definitely write some more about my experiences while I'm signed up as a blogger.

The Sphere

I have been messing with our photo shop again and I am so proud to be able to create this sphere with our pictures on it. It always amazes me how awesome the program that was just sitting in our computer for years now, and it makes me realize how naive I was to not even realize its purpose. It gives me the realization that sometimes, in life, we seek for something special but we never realize that the something special we are searching for is right in front of us, it's just waiting to be discovered...
We all are in search for ultimate happiness and fulfilment that we never knew that we have been fulfilled a long time ago by our family, we are just too busy looking at a different direction to realize that. Just like a famous quote says, " The best things in life are free", we should not forget that the gift of family, the gift of life every morning when we wake-up, the gift of good health and even the air that we breath everyday are free stuff that we almost always forget to acknowledge but are very vital in our existence. It's never to late to make somebody feel appreciated and it's never too late to look around and see the blessings that we already possess...

Auto Repair

Having a car requires maintenance from time to time, to keep it running at optimal performance. You need to make sure that you do oil change every 3,000 miles city driving and 7,000 miles country driving. Depending on your car, you would need a tune-up every 50,000 to 100,000 miles. Me, personally, I drive a 2005 Acura TL, and I just had a tune-up a week ago.
If you live near Seattle, Washington area, you could find great service at Seattle auto repair. They're rated by customer reviews as 5-star. They are a group of auto-repair specialists that are ready to serve you and are experienced in repairing different car models and types.
Whether you just need a wheel alignment or a total car tune-up, don't wait for the problem to get worse. Driving in a well-maintained car just gives you a peace of mind and it makes it more enjoyable to go on a road-trip.

Learning How to Play the Piano

I have always wanted to learn how to play the piano ever since I was a kid. The music that a piano makes is so beautiful and so calming. I never really got the chance to learn it but they say it's never too late to learn anything so, I decided to look at least try learning it now.
My sister-in-law has a piano in her house so I could just go there and use her piano to learn. I have no teacher, so I have to research how to learn it on the internet. I found free piano sheet music online and it's pretty good. This website also offers piano lessons online which is a plus for people like me who don't know how to play in the first place. It would be a great help and hopefully someday, I would be able to play a romantic tune in the piano keyboard.

Another Photo I Want to Share

This is the combination of both photos
I took the sailboat here

I put it in this photo

Ever since I kinda know how to use the adobe photo shop, I got addicted. It's just so fun to put all kinds of effects and enhancements in the photos that we have. I have been wondering how photos end up like this before, and I really thought it's the camera you use that makes it appear this way until I found out, pretty recently, that it just takes a computer program to come up with this result.

To the professionals out there, who happens to see my photo, please give me a slack because I really am an amateur and I have a long way to go before I get to your caliber. I am willing to learn though and I think that's what's matters the most. If you have the determination and the drive, you will definitely succeed.

Adobe Photoshop

I saw a picture from dhemz's site and it really caught my attention. I just got a digital slr camera and I am still learning how to use it. I also have adobe photoshop but I have no idea how to manipulate it. So, after seeing that picture, I looked-up online and tried to learn how to mask a picture. The photo above is an example of masking. You make all the rest of the picture black and white and just select an specific area to have the color pop-up.
I am so proud of myself when after hours of looking at videos online and basically doing trial and error, I finally was able to do it! Just sharing it with you.

A Baby's Laughter Is Priceless

Having a little baby has its ups and downs. There are days when you want to give up and question yourself what have you gotten yourself into. Especially when the baby is sick and you don't know what to do to make her feel better. I do feel that sometimes when my little girl is crying and throwing tantrums but all of the doubts is easily forgotten when she would give me her sweetest smile.

Fifi's laughter is so contagious. It just melts your soul and makes you thank God for the blessing of a child. It is the most genuine smile that you would ever get because a baby does not know how to be plastic. If they're happy you would know and if they're unhappy, you better watch out.
