Reliving Our Cruise

This picture was taken last year when my husband and me went to a carribean cruise. That was a very fun vacation for both of us, a time for us to bond and strengthen our marriage. This particular picture was taken on top of the cruise ship, while we're about to dock at the beautiful tropical island of Antigua.
I would never forget that vacation. It was the first time we both would go on a cruise and we were both excited. It's a 7-day cruise on the carribean that would start at San Juan, Puerto Rico and would end there as well. We flew to Puerto Rico 2 days before the cruise ship would depart and we stayed at an amazing hotel beside the beach. That was an awesome way to start our vacation.
When we boarded the ship, there we're some technical problems with regards to their machine that would take pictures of us as we embark, so it was a bit of a hassle. After that, everything was great! I enjoyed the food, the entertainment and ofcourse the different experiences we have in the different carribean islands we went to. That was just an experience of a lifetime!
We would love to do it again and someday we will... For right now, I am just reliving the experience of that awesome vacation...

Fifi's First Summer

Summer is here and what better way to spend summer that to take a splash in the pool. Ohhh.. Life is good.. So my girls and me spent one hot, humid, july afternoon in our backyard pool. Dressed in our swimsuit and sunblock ofcourse, we made a big splash, and we had so much fun.
My husband is overprotective of fifi, our 5 month old baby and so he got her a baby pool, complete with a tent and mosquito net in it. Yes you heard it right, he don't want sand-flies or mosquitoes to take a nip at our little angel's soft, baby skin.
The picture here is of fifi after swimming in her pool. She loved the water so much and feeling refreshed, she gave me a very sweet smile...
Summer is fun and evenmore so if you spend it with the people who matters the most...

Time Flies

It seems just like yesterday when I gave birth to her, and now she is starting to eat. Getting ready for the independence of eating food and not relying on breast milk to survive. Time flies and before I know it, my little Fifi would be walking and talking, and then going to school...
But I won't worry about that yet, I would just enjoy her while she's a baby and make the most out of our time together. Making sure that she's well-taken cared of and that she thrives everyday.
My little angel loves her food. She loves the different tastes that I introduce to her, and I love watching her make faces when she's not used to taste of the food I feed her. She is such a joy. Everyday, she never fails to amaze me, she never fails to make me laugh with her antics and she always brings a smile to my face.
She is the face of innocence. The true essence of what God said in the bible that we should be like children in order to enter His kingdom. She loves me so much that just waking up and seeing me would bring a smile to her face. She loves me for who I am and not for what I have. She cuddles with me without caring if I brushed my hair or if my clothes are torn and old.
I will always be awed by the gifts a baby could give. The priceless smiles and giggles are worth more than gold. And I know that someday all these would just be a memory coz time flies and she would be a grown-up in a blink of an eye.
