I have always wanted to learn french and I hope someday I would atleast understand the language. My father-in-law is part french and he would sometimes say french words such as abri de piscine. He would teach me how to say it but after a few minutes I would forget.. LOL.. I once learned how to say big bag in french but now, I have no idea how. I'm probably getting older and forgetful...
My daughter on the other hand knows a little french and I am encouraging her to learn some more. It is very helpful to know more than one language, so what I do to learn some more is visit some sites francais or french sites, and translate it with the french dictionary.

I think I could never ever speak French, Kath. This language has a strange vocal that looks difficult to learn. Good for Andrea (obviously) who can speak French a little bit..
