Thanksgiving is the time to be thankful to God for all the blessings we received all year through. Despite hard economic times this year, I am still thankful that my husband has a job. There are a lot of people who lost their jobs this year and I feel sorry for them and at the same time, it opened my eyes that I am still blessed. I am thankful for the good health and the safety all year through. I am thankful because we have food in the table, shelter to sleep on our heads and clothes to wear. I am thankful that despite the hardships, my family in the Philippines are all healthy and safe, especially during the typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng. I am thankful for the friends and the opportunities I receive through blogging. I am thankful for the peace. It might not be world peace but peace in our home and in our community. I am thankful for the freedom I am enjoying right now.
And most of all, I am thankful for God's love and forgiveness and for giving me two beautiful daughters and a very loving, understanding hubby who loves me unconditionally. I am thankful for these smiles...
How about you? What are you thankful for?

Yes, there are so many things we ought to be thankful for. In spite of everything, this is still a wonderful world. We may not have everything we wish for in life but God has given us the best and what we need most in our lives. It's great that you are grateful to God for all the blessings He has given you. Thanks for the post. God bless you and your loved ones always.
