Grandfather's Clock

I like to decorate our house. That's one of the hobbies I got from my mother. I used to watch her sew curtains and put it up our windows. She would purchase all kinds of stuff to beautify our house and one of my favorites was the grandfather clock that she bought from my grandma's sister. I was so young then, so I thought of the clock as a ginormous piece of art. I could still remember the sound it makes as its pendulum swings back and forth. I would watch it and sing a song that I learned from school entitled My Grandfather's Clock.

Now that I have a house of my own and kids of my own, I would like to have a grandfathers clock. But I love modern-looking ones. I have one clock that I have been draming to have since it a fountain and a grandfathers clock rolled into one. It's very attractive, very modern yet very sophisticated. Someday, I would be able to purchase it and I would teach my kids the song I learned so they could sing it while watching our beautiful grandfather clock.
