When I got pregnant last year, we decided to get a van so our growing family would be comfortable while we travel. But it's not just the size that we put into consideration, we also made sure that the van has leather seats since having kids in the car means constant spilled drinks and sticky candy all over the place. Another thing we made sure that was in the van was a DVD player so our little munchkins will be entertained while we travel and it would lessen the dreaded "Are we there yet?" question...
Having a dvd player helped a lot, in so many ways. Andrea my older daughter, loves to watch movies and even play video games in the van. Sometimes when she would watch the hilarious spongebob episodes, the van will be filled with laughter and me and hubby would just look at each other and say thank goodness for the sony dvd player.
Going to vacations is a fun thing and the starts when we leave our house inside the comfort of our van.
