There was a Filipina girl who works in Dubai, after learning that there's a tragedy that happend in the Philippines, posted in her account in facebook, what I would call a very heartless comment regarding the unfortunate flood that killed a lot of people.
She specifically said that it's good that she's in Dubai when the storm happend because, according to her, there are a lot of sinners in the Philippines and they all deserve what happend to them.
Personally, I do not deny that there are sinners in the Philippines and so does all over the world. We are all sinners, so why are we casting a stone when we ourselves aren't perfect? And even if people committed sins, it's still not right to add insult to injury by saying nasty things like they deserve it. It's up to God to say that and the innocent kids and babies affected by the said flood don't deserve, for sure, the predicament they are going through or have been through.
Sometimes we have to be careful what we say, especially what we write in the intenet. We have a freedom of speech but with that freedom comes responsibility.

great post, kandi! yes, we're all sinners and what happened was a calamity, not a curse although flood is one of the fruits of sin. the effect of the flood would have not been that worst if there were some measures of prevention. pls visit my recent post on this.
I also heard about her heartless shout on Facebook sis Kandi...as if she is as pure as our creator... i just hope that she has no sins at all para hindi maflood ang Dubai kong saan naroon sya..parang hindi sya pinay
I heard this news in pinoy channel and Jacky was not the one who wrote that comment on her face book, and that was her old account in FB and somebody trying to hacked her account. I saw her on the tv crying and explaining that she was not the one who wrote that comment.
I can not imagine if someone from our own country could ever give such a pity statement like that. I can read the comments she received on your little picture and figure out that she don’t even feel sorry about it at all. Actually, she can just delete that status away and hope that it will stop people from mocking and insulting her back. But she is too proud of herself to do so. I just pray that God will forgive her and keep her away from having such as miserable event one day. Sometimes, you can be so amazed of what a human can think of..
